The ROAR Run is an event coordinated through the Woodland PTA and the Woodland Educational Foundation. The Woodland School District 50 is the 7th largest elementary school district in the state of Illinois, and the largest in Lake County. The district educates 6,300 children in early childhood through 8th grade from the surrounding 33 square mile area. Our student body is comprised of children from very diverse ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds. The funds raised through the run goes directly back to our district to support our libraries, cultural arts assemblies, teacher grants, scholarships and more.
